Lady Bug Drum

The Lady Bug Drum is a charming musical instrument which is designed to be usable by very young children. It has a friendly design which welcomes them and encourages them to play. The top of the drum has a dome shape which is made to look like the carapace of a ladybug, with rectangular cuts all over it which are carefully shaped to produce specific tones when struck. Through some experimentation kids will learn which parts of the drum correspond to which tones, and then they will be able to put together their own simple melodies.
