Galvanized Steel S-Hook (3/8 x 3-1/5-inch)

Quick Ship — in stock and ready to ship.

This Galvanized Steel S-Hook is designed to form a solid connection between a swing set and the chain that holds it firmly in place. Safety is paramount when it comes to children’s playground equipment and the materials used in construction need to be able to endure kids swinging, pulling and putting pressure on it day after day. That’s why even the smallest pieces of equipment we supply like the Galvanized Steel S-Hook are tested to the extreme and meet multiple national standards and guidelines. The process of galvanization involves adding a layer of zinc to the steel product which protects it from the rain, snow and moisture that would otherwise cause it to rust quickly. The hook comes open at both ends and once you’ve added the connections on either end it must be closed together using a special tool or even with a vice clamp. Let kids swing high and fast without any worries thanks to this small but incredibly strong hook. Swing sets usually require two of these hooks.

Meets ASTM F1487, CPSC and IPEMA safety standards. Ideal for schools, parks, and community playgrounds.
