This playful bridge takes kids from one platform to the next by testing their balance and coordination on the way. Unlike a conventional bridge, the Lilly Pad Bridge is made of six tilted platforms, much like actual lily pads floating on water. The tilt means every step requires careful balance and a little planning but there are thin poles for support and textured pads underneath for little shoes to get a good grip. The last thing you want is a slip, but even if it happens, the short distance to the ground means the fall will be more of a gentle hop. The poles are firmly pitched inside the ground to ensure they don’t wobble, and the pads are made from rotational molded plastic to stay intact under heavy load.
