Description

Children ages 2 to 12 years will love exploring the Boulder play structure. A transfer station and a disc climber lead up to a hexagon shaped deck. On the deck, kids can play with a gear panel or steer the ship’s wheel on the metal barrier wall. To head back to the ground, kids can choose between a straight slide or a right turn slide. Post mounted at the ground level are a single drum and bongos. The Boulder play system allows a child’s physical development to be improved as they climb up and down the climber or the stairs. Social play can also be developed as new friendships are formed. Imaginative play and mental development can be stimulated as well. The Boulder play system is a structure that will fit in well in most spaces. It has a little bit of something for all kids to enjoy. The Boulder play system is ADA compliant.

The Boulder is a great choice of outdoor play equipment for public parks and elementary schools as it contains lots to do in a small footprint. A main feature of the Boulder is the large hexagon-shaped upper deck which allows multiple children to play, communicate and interact with each other in close proximity. Together they can pretend the structure is a ship headed out across the ocean with the Ship’s Wheel mounted high up on a Rail Panel to give a real sense of being a captain or a pirate. It can even be a spaceship thanks to the addition of a Gear Panel which gives it a mechanical element as well as showing children how one cog can turn many others. The Disk Climber is a fun part of the structure to climb and children are sure to love navigating the platform steps to reach the top where they can choose from a Straight Slide or a Right Turn Slide to descend back to the ground again. Musically-inclined children will also be drawn to the Single Drum and Bongos available to bash.
