Everything you need to know about receiving your playground equipment — from ship times to what to do when the truck arrives.

Shipping Options

🚚 Quick Ship Structures

We carry specific products that are called quick ship. Meaning they are usually already ready to be packed up and shipped out.                                                                                                                        Usually Ships within 1–3 weeks.

📦 Standard Shipping

All orders ship via freight semi truck carrier on a flatbed or enclosed truck. Your playground equipment will arrive in wooden crates, securely packed for safe transport. Standard shipping transport typically takes 3–10 business days after your order leaves the warehouse, depending on your location.
Shipping costs are calculated based on:
  • Order size and weight
  • Delivery destination
  • Carrier availability
You will receive a tracking number and the carrier will contact you within 24 hours of delivery to schedule a drop-off window. A signature is required at the time of delivery.

🎨 Custom Structures

Custom Structures are any structures not offered for Quick Ship. These structures are manufactured to customer specifications regarding color palette and aspects of play.

What to Expect on Delivery Day

Your equipment will arrive as a large open-air crates, Shrink Wrapped pallets, boxes full of parts and pieces. Here's how to prepare:
  • Have 2–3 able-bodied people ready to help with team-lift unloading
  • It is the customer's responsibility to unload and properly store the order
  • If you chose professional installation, you are still responsible for offload

⚠️ Before the Driver Departs

This is critical — take these steps before the driver leaves:
  1.  Check the shipping sticker to ensure you received the correct order
  2.  Inspect for damage: broken crate, dents, scrapes, scratches, torn packaging, etc.
  3.  ANY DAMAGE MUST BE NOTED ON THE DELIVERY RECEIPT WITH THE DRIVER
  4.  Photograph the crate from all angles, and photograph any damage

📋 Once the Driver Departs

  • Report any damage noted on the freight delivery receipt to us IMMEDIATELY
  • Report any missing pieces or discrepancies to us within 72 hours of delivery
  • Failure to report damage or missing pieces may result in denial of claim
  • Check the contents of your crate against the packing list provided

Customer Responsibilities

It is the customer's responsibility to:
  • ☐ Unload the order and store it properly unless a prior agreement exists
  • ☐ Count the contents of the order and compare it to the freight line & bill of lading before signing the receipt
  • ☐ Inspect the delivery for any obvious signs of damage and for signs of potential concealed damage
  • ☐ Mark any damage found, including damage to packaging that may result in concealed damage, on the delivery receipt before the driver departs
  • ☐ Report any damage or missing parts to us within 48 hours of receipt of delivery
  • ☐ Cover any additional fees stemming from delivery delay at the customer's fault

General Shipping Policy

  • The carrier will contact you within 24 hours of freight delivery
  • Failure to report any and all damage and missing parts will result in your freight claim being denied, and loss of your ability to receive replacement parts at no additional cost
  • If you find a concealed damage problem, all original packaging must be kept for inspection by the Freight Carrier
  • Playground Equipment Pros reserves the right to select the most cost-effective method of transportation and carrier for shipping the products and charge the customer for freight in addition to the cost of the products
