The Santa Monica play structure is a popular play structure for children who are between the ages of 5 and 12 years old. Children can use a vertical ladder to get to a curved overhead swinging rung ladder that gives access to a 36” elevated platform. A straight slide comes off the 36” elevated platform, stairs also attach to this platform. A 42” elevated platform then leads to a 48” hexagonal elevated platform. The hexagonal elevated platform is accessible by a disc climber and zipper climber. A straight slide and a drum panel are also attached to this platform. Up a set of stairs is a 60” elevated platform that has a double wave slide and straight slide attaches to it, and is accessible by a vertical ladder. Bongos, a ship’s wheel, a drum, a rain wheel, and a bench panel provide on-ground play and make the Santa Monica play structure ADA compliant.
