The Lakewood play structure is tomorrow’s play structure, today. Children will have instant fun on this play structure that is made up of a triangular elevated platform and a square elevated platform, both standing at 36”. Children can access this play structure by a pebble climber, a carrot climber, or by stairs. A gear panel borders one side of the triangular elevated platform, and a wave slide attaches to a side of the square elevated platform, offering children a fun way down. A single drum and a ship’s wheel found on the ground level provide opportunities for on-ground play and make the Lakewood play structure ADA compliant. A pyramid roof covers part of the play structure, providing shade and protection from the sun to children playing on this play structure during sunny days. This play structure is designed for children who are between the ages of 2 and 12 years old.
There’s lots of fun to be had on this compact yet exciting Lakewood play structure that’s perfect for smaller spaces. All of the adventure leads to a central upper platform covered by a protective Line Roof and from here kids get an excellent view of the playground, and choose to head down the Straight Slide. There are two innovative ways to climb up on the Lakewood which require problem-solving, coordination as well as working their core muscles, hands and feet together. The Carrot Climber is a fun addition that features dented grips and 3D carrots to help them scale the side, while the Pebble Climber requires balance to step up the three textured platforms. On the ground level there’s a Ship’s Wheel for magical sea adventures and a Gear Panel to investigate the workings of cogs and movements. The Single Drum can be beat with the hands to generate music and rhythm in the playground environment.
