Pedestal tables have a very specific advantage: leg room. MyTCoat’s Honeycomb Steel Rooted Octagon Table capitalized on that with floating seats. The central connection point of the seats to the post allows for easy exit and entrance while artificially creating two seats per bench. As each bench lines up with the start of the cut off corner, a small bubble of space is created between the people on both either side of the corner. Each of these small boundaries ensures that the occupants have space for themselves at the table.
