Description
Climbing up climbers, sliding down slides, and playing with their friends is what makes up a day’s work when you are a child, and that is why children love the Durham play structure, which encompasses climbers, slides, and fun in its design, is so popular amongst children. Children can access this play structure with a sea creature climber, pod climber, or stairs. Children also have a choice of sliding down a double slide, wave slide, or spiral slide that are attached to the Durham play structure. A ship’s wheel, single drum, rain wheel, bongos, and a bench panel make this play structure ADA compliant, as well as offer lots of on-ground play for children to partake in. The bench panel also gives active children a place to rest after a hard day of play. This play structure is designed and built for children who are between the ages of 2 and 12 years old.
The linear design of the Durham makes it easy for children to access all parts of the equipment when they climb aboard at the Transfer Station. There are two other ways to get to the platforms. The Pod Climber lets them feel like they’re climbing up a palm tree or temple column with the rounded design, and the Sea Creature Climber brings excitement as they grab 3D starfish and turtles to help their ascent. The Durham boasts three fun slides to choose from: a Double Slide for thrilling competition, a Wave Slide for an undulating experience or a Spiral Slide for giggle-inducing twists and turns. On the ground level there is a Bench Panel to catch their breath from all of the excitement as well as a Ship’s Wheel to inspire creativity. The sound of music from the Bongos and Single Drum creates a happy atmosphere in the playground and younger children especially will love to bang their hands on these. A spinning Rain Wheel is also included to emulate the pitter patter of raindrops.
